Description
SD Music is a two piece available to play a variety of music for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and other events .
Stacey (S) is an experienced and trained singer having sung with many well known wedding bands aswell as singing at numerous wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions for over ten years .
Downey (D) is a wonderful guitar player , singer and the added bonus of a qualification in sound and audio production meaning the sound for your day will be perfect!
SD music are a professional and reliable duo that view every booking as a privilege ,delighted to be a part of your special occasion !

Started off with some easy listening and we all then ended up back on the dance floor! Their set list is brilliant as they have something for everyone and they even recreated our first dance song in their own style which was a very special spontaneous moment for us that we will hold in our hearts forever! They have such a variety of music, with a really beautiful blend that plays to your preference. From that poignant entrance to our fun and bubbly exit, they couldn’t have been more in tune with the theme of the day. Their performance was a highlight with ourselves and our guests mentioning how they added to the intimacy and emotion of the ceremony. If you’re getting married then look no further than Stacey and Downey, you will not be disappointed!

October 22, 2022 at 6:13 pmThere are no words to describe how amazing Stacey and Downey are! They MADE our whole wedding. Stacey not only has an incredible voice but she also has the stage presence and experience that will get the whole crowd going! Downey is equally as brilliant, his musician skills are second to none. He also has the additional bonus of being a sound engineer and he helped solve any issues without us even knowing there were any! Getting married abroad, with the additonal challenge of two languages, we had to be sure we were had the right pair with us and they exceeded all of our expectations. The dynamic duo played at our civil ceremony, made our day 2 as good and memorable as our wedding day and had a repotoire that suited every taste. The most special moment for us by far was our first dance. Stacey and Downey went that extra mile and translated our favourite song and sung half in French!!!! It set the whole scene for the evening, nobody left the dancefloor! We couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Thank you so much! Merci au fond du cœur ❤️

They are very flexible, willing to learn any special songs that are requested and just made us feel at ease about the music in general. To make things better they are very friendly and also great craic 🙂

December 29, 2022 at 6:30 pmWe had the pleasure of having Stacey and Downey perform for our drinks reception on 7th October 2022 in Castlemartyr Resort. They were amazing to deal with from day one and made us feel totally at ease. They contacted the venue of their own accord to ensure the smooth running of the day and made sure everything would be set up perfectly, which really helped as it was one thing I knew I did not have to stress about. Stacey and Downey performed amazingly on the day, with a personalised playlist, creating a gorgeous atmosphere for our outdoor drinks reception. Song requests were not an issue, they were very willing and happy to learn new music, while already covering a wide variety of genres with something to suit everyone’s taste. Plenty of our guests commented on how fabulous the music was. SD Music made our wedding so special, I really could not recommend them enough. If you are thinking of booking them you will not be disappointed!
